Mein Gastpost auf „So it was weekend. And I was bored.“ hat mich dazu angeregt, mal auf Englisch zu schreiben. Also los!
We’ve been once two years ago at the north sea
specifically in the near of Neuharlingersiel. this is a really great place with a really great beach, great shops and also there is the dock for ships to the East Frisian Islands.
There, we found the little beach restaurant „Hinni’s“. The name sounds a little bit cheesy, but the restaurant is very modern and pretty.
I think Hinni is the chef of the restaurant because of the name, but i never saw him there.
So, two years ago we ate there lunch and one time we grabbed there some boxed food and took it to our beach chair on the beach directly behind the restaurant.
I cannot even remember exactly what I had eaten there, but I remember that my mother had sometime ordered there a potato with crabs and white sauce. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
I needn’t to say that I am an absolute fan of crabs and of fish in general at this point well. Well, I am!
So, after I had eaten this potato for the first time, we were really very good friends and it always tasted again.
So, this summer we went once more to the north sea, as you already could see on my instagram feed, if you wanted.
But not directly to Neuharlingersiel, but in the near of Greetsiel. Unfortunately Greetsiel is one hour of Hinni’s away. Bad for me and for the potato.
Luckily we made at least one trip to Neuharlingersiel. And I got my potato! Together with delicious taste and images, that I wanted to show you then today.
So, if you should make in times a trip to Neuharlingsiel, you have to go to Hinni’s.
Ordered to you, whatever you want, but let’s be told you that I would always suggest the potato.
The other things there are of course also very good. My father had little things on a etagere, which also looked good, but I can of course only speak for me and the potato.
Lg Silke
